  I had a really really bad experience here and hope everyone reads this and takes it to heart. I'm a young female who was living in a new city for a year and I am very sad that I made the mistake to live here for a year. In general, the apartment was really outdated and had water damage, but I knew that going in.
  
  Gail, in the office, was often incredibly rude to me, intentionally unhelpful, and acted like anything I asked was WAY too much for her to do (simply picking up a package was like pulling teeth, she always made me feel unwelcome). Eric, the office manager, SCREAMED at me over the phone when I disagreed with him about how they were handling an issue and then often did not return calls or listen to instructions he was given by his boss (who I had to talk to to get an issue resolved). There were multiple thefts, and issues with people having guns outside of the apartments. I had to move out of my apartment early because my father had urgent cardiac surgery, and when I called to clarify that that was alright ( I would be moving out early and not extending my lease by a month like originally planned) and that I would get my security deposit back, Gail told me that everything was good and I was free to move out. Well, she lied. I called the office over 10 times to get my security deposit back ($500! I'm a broke college student!) everyone in the office gave me the run around for 2 months saying it "had been sent", "oh they didn't have my forwarding address" (after I gave it to them in an email/over the phone multiple times. 2 months after I moved out I got a check for $7. They were so dishonest and never once told me there would be an issue with my security deposit, how terrible to be lied to over the phone over and over. Especially when I paid my rent on time, every month, was quiet and respectful, and left my apartment 2 weeks early (and they filled it just days after I moved out - i.e. made money off of me).
  
  It was a really bad experience, if you're a young female, please please please consider living at Cooper's Landing or other apartments in the area. You don't deserve to be yelled at or treated like you're not worth their time, especially when you're paying so much to live there.
